First Poem of the Year

I got a magnetic cat poetry calendar this year, and the "theme" for January was to write a poem about your cat. Basically, to just play around with the words and arrange and re-arrange until you find the poem you were meant to write. So here's the finished product. It's not long, but I think I did a pretty good job for the first time out. And it kind of rhymes, too!
