Katy got out of the exercise pen yesterday afternoon. Since we latch up the pen with 3-4 clips, the only way we figure she got out was to climb over the top. After her escape, she had a snack of cat food. And threw it up. And ate that. And threw it up. And so on and so forth. We started her back on the antibiodics last night, because she usually gets pneumonia when she has one of these adventures. She's been ok, in that she is still interested in her food, but she has a nasty cough today. We called Dr. Fix, and he gave us a refill on the antibiodics for another two full rounds.
She's also grounded, which means she can't be in the exercise pen with Max while we are at work, and instead has to sleep in her own kennel with a door and a roof. She doesn't really like it, but it's the only way we can make sure she's not getting into anything she's not supposed to. Today we ran the humidifier during the day as well to help her cough.
