Katy goes to the vet... again

Since we obviously can't go a week without visiting the vet, we took Katy in this morning. She was wheezing and breathing heavily again, and wouldn't eat her breakfast. We figured it was the asphyxia pneumonia and asked if we could just pop in and get her a shot and some antibiodics. Uh, no. We had to go in. So the doctor got to see her. She was running a bit of a temp and sounded a bit congested. The vet said we could take xrays to make sure, or just treat it for pneumonia, and if it didn't get better in a few days come back for tests. We opted for the first one. Now she is back home and napping on our her couch.

Two hours after her doctor's visit, Katy is feeling a lot better, and ate half of her breakfast. I'll watch her for signs of distress, and if there are none, she'll get the other half about an hour later.

IMPORTANT: We got a copy of all of Katy's charts since her annual visit in April. We made a copy and have this in a folder. That way, if she gets sick or if something happens overnight or over the weekend, and we have to go to an emergency vet, then we have all of the background information they might need to help her, and we won't have to try and remember everything that's been done.

Meanwhile....

Scout is feeling a lot better. Here he is finishing up a bath...

PJ is just obsessed with laundry. Threats of "you know your momma doesn't like that, and you're going to be in trouble..." have no effect whatsoever. But, then again, he is a cat, and we are just living in his house.
