Scout's 3 month check-up

Today was Scout's three month check-up. He was in a pretty good mood this morning, purring and being all loveable, trying to get some food. He was a little grumpy in the car, but was overall ok until they took him in the back for his examination. There was yelling, screaming, and crying. The crying was by a dog.

Dr. E was very pleased with the results of Scout's examination. Here is his discharge summary:

Scout is back today for his regular recheck examination and lab work prior to refilling his oral medications. You report that he has been doing very well at home. On physical examination he is as feisty as ever. His weight is stable at 13.44 which is the same as his last visit. His complete blood count was within normal limits. On his chemistry profile, his BUN is persistently elevated but stable when compared to his last lab work. Since his weight is stable at this visit we elected not to pursue abdominal ultrasound. I have refilled his medications today as planned. I would like to see him back in 3 to 4 months for recheck examination and repeat lab work prior to refilling his oral medications. He was a pleasure as always.

Yay!
