The building with the flag on it houses Mission Control. The flying flag means that there is an American in space. When we were driving up to the building, the flight surgeon came out with his digital camera and took video of us waving and saying hi that he was going to send up to the astronauts for morale purposes. I think he was plotting some kind of practical joke... he had a cardboard cut-out of one of the astronauts that he had dressed up as a tour guide that he set in our tram. But still, it was an intersting thing to happen!
This grove of oak trees are a living memorial to astronauts who have lost their lives in the service of their country.
A Saturn V rocket. It is housed in a five-story building. This is the type of rocket that took the astronauts to the moon.
Longhorns that are raised on NASA property. They are being trained to travel into space and jump over the mooooooon!!!
Just kidding... That would be udderly ridiculous!
