Max Update

The vet decided to put Max on potassium bromide. He gets one pill of 1125mg per day. It will take 2-4 weeks for the new meds to build up in his system. In the meantime, he stays on the higher dosage of phenobarbitol. Now Max has developed mini seizures or mini tremors. He starts to kind of shake like he is having a seizure, but it only lasts about 5 seconds. He is also tending to fall down, but we do not know if it is due to the seizures or the increased phenobarbitol (loss of coordination is a side effect) or a little of both. But he is not having the big ones, which is good. He hasn't had a major seizure since 2:23 Saturday morning. Yay!
