We talked to the vet, and they are upping his meds. Dr. Fix looked at the blood results again from a month ago and said that Max was on the low/average end of the spectrum, so an increase in the meds would be okay.
Max was getting one 60mg of phenobarbitol twice a day, and now he will get one and a half, or 90mg twice a day for a total of 180mg of phenobarbital each day. He seemed ok when I got home-- no wet marks on the carpet from peeing, which he does when he seizes. I gave him a half a pill and some peanut butter water, and he is one happy dog!
Katy was upset with Max last night after his seizures-- it's her job to keep him in line, after all! She kept nipping at him and growling, as if to tell him, "Stop doing that!" But otherwise she was fine through the whole ordeal, no throwing up other than the norm.
