Max had another seizure a little after 10pm. It was a long one, like the kind he had before he went on the meds. The vet said not to give a load dose for the increase in meds, so we are just going to have to wait until the new levels even out in his system.
After the seizure, it took about three hours to completely recover from the seizure. While that has happened before, this time included barking. Not his usual bark, mind you, but his high pitched, whiney bark. Think of a thousand little girls screaming at a Jonas Brothers concert, and turn that into a dog's bark. Yeah, it was that annoying.
And nothing could get him to stop, except time.
About 2am, he finally felt better. Either that, or the was exhausted from all the barking and wandering around the house and the yard. In any case, we were all able to get a couple hours of sleep.
Thank goodness this happened after school is out!
