I got home this afternoon, and Scout had thrown up again. Soooo, he had to go to the vet after all. He didn't have a fever or a bump where he got his rabies shot, so it wasn't a reaction to the rabies vaccination. The vet gave him a anti-nausea shot and gave me some anti-nausea pills (The same that Katy gets, only half the dosage that she gets.) for the next couple of days. The vet's theory is that it has to do with the food change, since we've been trying to find a wet food that Scout likes, but PJ doesn't (so PJ doesn't steal all of Scout's food). So now we are just going back to his regular Friday wet food until his stomach gets settled, and then try a gradual switch.
As of about 8:30 this evening, Scout was feeling a lot better. He came and sat on my lap and gave me a kiss and even purred. He doesn't seem ready to eat anything yet, but I'm going to leave some food and treats out in case he gets hungry, since he usually eats at night anyway.
Hopefully, tomorrow will be better, because if he throws up again, he has to go back to the vet.
