Scout's Check-up

Scout had his three month check-up today, and Dr. E was very pleased with the visit. His weight was down about .30 pounds, but she isn't concerned because his activity level is up at home. She was very happy that he was so onery and feisty this morning. It took them quite some time to get all the blood they needed for the tests, even though they put him in the cat bag. His complete blood count is still within normal limits. His chemistry profile still has mild but persistent eleveations. His BUN was 42 which is still a mild elevation, but down from 51 from last time. His creatinine was on the high end but still in normal limits. He will go back in three months, which is January, and his one year anniversary of his diagnosis. We got a three month refill on his chemo pill and a three month refill on his Prednisolone/Metronidazole that will save us about $20 on shipping costs. We also got a new prescription for Scout's anti-nausea pill that we get from Canada.
