The dogs have their annual check-up this morning. They have been cleaned (They were super-stinky!) and brushed, and are taking a nap before their car-trip. We're not going to feed them until after we get back. Max has a history of car sickness, and it also produces better results in the blood test when they haven't eaten any food before going. We won't know the results of the blood tests until sometime early next week. I will post an update later.
UPDATE MONDAY:
We found out Saturday that the dogs are parasite-free (insert joke of choice here). Max has some pigmentation on his right eye that he will need to see a specialist for, but that probably won't happen for a couple of weeks, so I won't have to take off work to go. We got their blood work results back today, and everything looks ok. Katy's kidney levels are elevated but stable, me, meaning they haven't gone up any and are holding steady, so no cause for concern. We got our vet to order a bottle of Katy's meds for us that will save us about 40% of what we are paying now, which will help a lot, but will hurt a little at first, because we will have to pay for it up front.
